Ireland Countryside - Saturday September 15th to Thursday September 20th
Saturday 15th September - Time to hit the road again. After a late breakfast, we headed off to pick up a car and then make our way to Cork for the night. We diverted of the main roads to check Wicklow National Park. Unfortunately it was on the misty side and the photos didn't come out all that well but the scenery was quite spectacular. |

Blarney Castle - To kiss the Blarney Stone you have to lay in your back on the mat and bend your head back and down. The stone is the slobbery looking rock at the base of the two hand rails |

Tuesday 18th September - Nothing much was planned for the day we we have a few miles to cover to get to our next overnight stop. At the advice if Karen at the B&B we took a detour through the Burren National Park. This is a limestone rock region and the the site of some very old Celtic burial sites.

This is the Nordic - The tender boat which ferried the First Class passengers from the docks to the Titanic. It was recently moved from Paris where it was being used as a floating restaurant and is currently being restored and will become part of the exhibition. |

The huge gate at the opening of the dry dock - This is as close as one will getting to touching the hull of the Titanic - This gate was built at the same time as the hull using the same steel and manufacturing & riveting processes. The guide told us that the gate looks identical to most of the hull. |
